The TPV Group Opens a Production & Logistics Centre
The project provided by the distributor of the automotive industry is planned to be realized until 2020. The budget of the centre opened in the Velika Loka settlement is 20.3 million euros.
The Chairman of the TPV Group Management Board Marko Gorjup notes that they took the bulk of the funds for the project from their own sources. According to him, the opening of this centre is a movement towards smart plants, which they plan to open in other countries of the world.
Robots that deliver materials and products perform part of the work in the production and logistics centre. The headquarters of the parent company is located in Novo Mesto. It employs 1,200 people. The Group also includes such subsidiaries as TPV Šumadija, TPV Avto and TPV Prikolice. In Slovenia, the production facilities of the Group are located in Novo Mesto, Brežice, Suhor, Velika Loka and Ptuj. In Serbia, they are located in Kragujevac.
Last year, all the enterprises of the TPV Group worked with profit. The financial results of their activities exceeded the planned indicators by approximately 8%. At the same time, the Group produced slightly less than 3.29 million euros of net operating profit, thus surpassing last year’s value by almost 90%. For the current year, the Group forecasts an increase in revenue by 5% and a simultaneous increase in profits.
Among the main buyers of TPV products are large system suppliers of chassis, body and seat segments: Brose, Benteler, Faurecia, Mahle, and others. Among the motor manufacturers, these are BMW, Daimler, Renault, and Volkswagen. The key markets for TPV are Europe, North America, South Africa and China.
