The Twelfth Annual Gala Concert of the University of Primorska Academic Choir (APZ UP)

The Academic Choir (UP AEP) has been working since 2004 under the auspices of the Student Organization of the University of Primorska (ŠOUP). It invites to the twelfth annual concert, which will take place at the Protocol and Ceremonial Hall named after St. Francis of Assisi in Koper at 8:00 PM on Saturday, 4 June 2016.

For the second year in a row, the choir is directed by a promising young conductor Mirko Ferlan, assistant — Mihe Boleta. Sanja Đukić performs the administrative and artistic supervision. The twelfth annual concert is a great opportunity to listen to young performers of the Academic Choir from the University of Primorska.

Дванадцятий щорічний урочистий концерт About 35 male and female students of the University of Primorska (UP) and other enthusiasts of choral art sing in the choir. Ambrož Čopi directed the choir during the first decade of its existence. Mirko Ferlan became the choir’s new young conductor in October 2014.

The choir caries out performances in all musical genres and styles — from the Renaissance to the present days. A particular attention is drawn to the works by the Primorska composers. During the concert, the choir will also perform little-known works by would-be authors.
