The University of Maribor to Host Events in the Framework of the International Project for Implementing Environmental Technologies in Construction

The Faculty of Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering and Architecture of the University of Maribor takes part in the international project Neptune – Network for Environmental Projects in Technology UNited in Europe. Partners of the project are the University of Lucerne (Switzerland), Savonia University of Applied Sciences (Finland), NHL-University of Applied Sciences (Netherlands) and Tambov State Technical University (Russia).

The project involves 6 students from each partner university. The project’s activities are held annually during 9 days in each participating country. Working language is English. The project employs students specializing in Architecture, Construction Engineering, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Engineering, Urbanistics. The key topics of discussion are technology and construction economics, mobility, sustainability, and environment. Topics vary from year to year, taking into account their relevance.

This year, the project events will take place in the premises of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering and Architecture of the University of Maribor (attic floor, 2 Krekova, Maribor) from Friday, 13 April, to Saturday, 21 April. The theme of the current project participants meeting in Maribor is “Canopies of Urban Buildings in Digital Format.”

It should be noted that exactly 10 days remain before the deadline for submission of applications to the first round of admission to the universities of Ljubljana and Maribor. The rules of the enrolment campaign of 2018/2019 in these universities are such that candidates for enrollment during the second round will be selected exclusively from those who applied for the first round, that is until 20 April 2018. At the stage of submitting documents during the first round, entrants are only required to submit an application and available documents. Then, in June–July, they will need to add originals of certificates/diplomas with the results of final examinations.
