The Works by Slovenian Photographer Karmen Čorak and Painter Andrej Brumen Čop Are Exhibited in Rome

The works by Slovenian photographer Karmen Čorak and painter Andrej Brumen Čop are presented at the exhibition “Fragility of Existence”, which is exhibited at the Academy of Fine Arts (Rome, Italy). In total, the exhibition presents 66 paintings on canvas, drawings on Japanese paper and photographs. Works by Slovenian artisans are exhibited in the central hall located on the first floor of the Academy in the historic centre of Rome. The exhibition will work until 15 May 2018.

Andrej Brumen Čop is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts of the University of Ljubljana, an assistant professor at the Faculty of Education of the University of Ljubljana and the head of the local PeF Gallery. At the University of Ljubljana, he teaches the basics of academic drawing and painting.

Karmen Čorak is a graduate of the Faculty of Graphic Arts in Zagreb. She also studied in Rome, Austria and Japan on the “Restoration of Art Works on Paper” programme. Since 2001, she has been responsible for the restoration and preservation of the collection of paintings and photographs of the Roman National Gallery of Modern Art (La Galleria Nazionale d’Arte Moderna).
