Where to Meet the New Year in Slovenia?

A Brief Announcement of Events on the New Year’s Eve in Ljubljana and Other Cities of Slovenia.

At the end of November, the Slovenes began to light up festive lights in many cities of the country. The New Year is already around the corner. ‘Silvestrovanje’ is coming soon. The Slovenes use this word to call the ritual of celebrating the main night of the year in the open air. Despite the tendency of the Slovenes to celebrate the New Year abroad or to celebrate it in private, the major cities of Slovenia plan a rich cultural and entertainment programme.

“A part of the funds for the implementation of the December festive programme will be provided by sponsors, another part will come from renting houses at the festive fair,” the Municipality informs.
