Želševka – Bread with Chive Filling
- 1 kg flour,
- 0.6 L hot water,
- a pack of yeast,
- 3 tbsp sunflower oil.
- finely chopped greens (a large bunch),
- 10 leaves of fresh mint (can be dried),
- 2 stems of young chives,
- sore cream,
- an egg,
Knead the yeast dough and let it rise. Then mix it twice and let it rise one more time.
Roll out the dough on flour-poured baking paper and smear with sour cream and egg. Sprinkle it with greens to cover completely. Then sprinkle with finely chopped mint (or dried mint) and finely chopped young chives. Adding onion is optional. Add raisins to taste.
Form a loaf to the size of the baking dish. Leave it in the baking dish for 45 minutes and bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C for 50–60 minutes.
